Hey ELM Family,
Since 2021, Casa ELMBoutique Guesthouse has been more than a place to stay—it has been a soft landing in San Miguel de Allende for people exploring relocation, cultural experiences, retreats, sabbaticals, and simply a different way of living.

What started as a heart mission by founder Michelle Wedderburn—with faith, community, and no exact roadmap—has grown into something we could never have imagined. Over the years, we've welcomed so many people, mostly women, who came searching for information and an experience, but also found connection and community.

And now, that vision has grown.❤️

Hacienda ELM | CoLiving For Women | San Miguel de Allende, Mexico is our newest chapter—a boutique co-living community where independent adults can stay longer, slow down, connect, and truly "try on" life in Mexico for a month or more.

Two unique spaces. One continuing mission:

A soft landing. A home away from home. A community to belong to while discovering what life in Mexico could look like for you.

This journey continues, and we're so excited about what's ahead. 🇲🇽

Bringing newcomers together since 2019. Life in San Miguel de Allende ain’t always peaches n’ cream, but this right here… this is cream-of-the-crop living.

From the beauty to the breakthroughs, the culture shifts to the courage it takes to start over abroad — I’m deeply grateful for this life, for the real boots-on-the-ground experiences, and for the beautiful community that continues to grow through Casa ELM and others in our community. I’m also thankful for the many gracious Mexican locals who have welcomed so many of us with kindness and grace. Nothing but gratitude.
