Kinetica was commissioned to lead the fabrication and installation of “La Carreta” the central hub at TEC de Monterrey, designed by Sasaki Architects.

This open, multifunctional structure features custom-fabricated steel louvers, crystal doors and windows, and slender columns enclosing MEP systems—crafted entirely at our workshop.

Using a modular assembly method, we brought precision and efficiency into every detail. The result: a seamless, cantilevered pavilion that appears to float.
Innovation, collaboration, and craftsmanship—all under one roof.

Commissioned by Universal Studios for the new Terra Luna Resort, kinetica was responsible for fabricating and installing the oversized fiberglass panels that define the porte-cochère—one of the resort’s most distinctive architectural elements.

Inspired by planetary landscapes, the structure features a flowing, organic form finished in seamless white. The use of fiberglass was key: a material chosen for its high strength-to-weight ratio, resistance to environmental conditions, and ability to take on complex geometries with precision.

Each panel was engineered with a concealed metallic structural system, allowing the structure to appear suspended—The result is a futuristic, durable envelope that captures both cosmic inspiration and material innovation.

520 West 28th Street is a luxury residence designed by Zaha Hadid Architects. The pool wall features a sculptural design inspired by the fluid ripple generated by two colliding water droplets—a design that demands precision and fluidity.

We were commissioned to fabricate the custom GFRC (glass fiber reinforced concrete) panels that make up this wall. The sculptural geometry required digital precision and advanced fabrication strategies.
Each panel’s form was developed from a 3D model and translated into physical reality using our KUKA KR 150 for the mold fabrication. This ensured each panel’s subtle curvatures matched the design intent precisely, forming a continuous surface once assembled.

For this project by Wallace Cunninham, Kinetica was commissioned to fabricate wave-like rooftops and façade using large-format GFRC panels. To achieve the complex geometries, we engineered custom FRP molds with a smooth finish to achieve high-gloss surface finish on the GFRC panels.

GFRC was chosen for its lightweight properties and durability.
Each panel was digitally modeled, precision-cast, and pre-assembled at our workshop before transport and installation.

From mold-making to final assembly, Kinetica brings bold forms to life—expertly from beginning to end.

kinetica was commissioned to fabricate and install sculptural steel spine for the motor lobby of the Equus 333 complex, designed by Duda-Paine Architects.

This complex structure connects two office towers at ground level.
The spine is composed of 500 uniquely curved steel pipes. To manage the complexity of their intersections, our team developed a custom computational script that automated the extraction of pipe geometries and generated precise volumetric models.

Each pipe was fabricated in-house to ensure exact curvature and seamless integration. The structure was fully pre-assembled at our workshop to verify fit and alignment, then segmented for transport and reassembled on-site.

We had a great time at the Construction Robotics & Fabrication Technologies event at the University of Houston (), hosted by the Houston Design Collaborative

Leonardo Nuevo-Arenas () represented kinetica on a panel moderated by Andrew Kudless (), Director of C.R.A.F.T.

It was an honor to share the stage with such sharp, experienced, and passionate panelists—each bringing a unique perspective on the evolving relationship between technology, making, and academia.
The dialogue was honest and dynamic. We heard insights from across industries—some aligning with our work, others challenging it directly. That tension was invaluable. It helped sharpen our ideas, reassess assumptions, and ultimately walk away as better designers—and better people.

Thank you, Dean Strombom for the kind invitation and for fostering a space that encourages open exchange and meaningful collaboration.
We’re grateful for the experience—and excited about what’s to come.

We fabricated and installed the main element of James Turrell’s Skyspace Encounter — a contemplative space centered on the perception of light at sunrise and sunset.

The piece features a seamless concave FRP screen with a central oculus, supported by eight columns and a metallic structure. A 36-hour continuous pour on-site made the monolithic surface possible, using a 21-part mold we digitally fabricated and assembled with precision.

An immersive, light-filled experience — true to Turrell’s vision.

Kinetica was commissioned to engineer, fabricate, and install 42 turbine-like enclosures to house six 4K, 40,000-lumen laser projectors each, forming part of the largest 360° immersive projection surface in the world.

Each aluminum POD features double curvature hydroformed in-house, blending seamlessly with the dome’s structure.
At Kinetica, we don’t just build—we transform complexity into experience.

For the Houston Endowment HQ, we engineered and fabricated a custom aluminum façade and canopy system that merges form and function. Inspired by the shade of oak trees, the perforated canopy filters sunlight, helping the building achieve net-zero energy performance. Light, efficient, and built with precision.
