Friend invited me for lunch and we ended up here.

F&B :
Shan Cheng Laksa
Tastes like a Siam Laksa . Overall good flavour and loaded with herbs. Good serving size

Chee Cheong Fun
Sauces served separately . Different from your everyday ccf esp the sambal sauce but it's a good combo. Some fried fish balls would have been good 😋

Iced Coffee
A white coffee served on a bed of dry ice to give you the misty effect. Topped with a ice rose made from coffee. Overall food flavour but ice ratio is a bit off to make this drink great.

Been buying from this shop since I was young. I like their char kuay teow as it's a bit wet compared to the usual dry version.

I usually order with pork and egg here. Probably the only place I order with pork instead of prawn.

Fond memories and am happy their still in business.

This stall is now like the rest of the other vendors situated near kelab kilat while renovation of the actual pinji market takes place.

Nasi Lemak cravings satisfied 😋

Just what I was looking for ... Tasty rendang ayam , sambal telur , sweet sambal , loaded with peanuts. Yums !

Post 001 - Lahat Lane Coffee Stall , Ipoh , Malaysia

What better way than to start my travel blog in my hometown of Ipoh. Back here for several weeks before I head back to Chiangmai and later to Europe for Xmas.

Lahat Lane Chee Cheong Fun needs no mention if you are from Ipoh. This shop has been around for as long as I can remember.

We had CCF and ordered some liew soaked in their curry. Lots of pork skin added so my light breakfast ended up being a large one instead 😅
