Recently our Miss Scuba Sabah 2014 winner - Ms. Ho Jane Yee, represented Sabah to the finals of Miss Scuba Malaysia held in Port Dickson over the weekend. She performed a golden wing belly dance piece for the talent show. She did great & we are proud of her !!!!

After undergoing a month with pageant days included , we have now arrived on the 'THE DAY" of the Miss Scuba Sabah 2014 Grand Finale!

Started of with a under the sea opening dance by Bodycare Dance Studio, followed by the introduction of our 3 handsome & beautiful panel judges ( Gerald Victor, Mandy Nandu & Dolly Jimayol as Chief Judge), introduction of the finalists in swimwear, followed by their talent show performance , catwalk in cocktail wear, finalists vidoe highlight & marine awareness message and finally the announcement of the subsidiary titles, top 4 (with final Q&A) & winner of this year Miss Scuba Sabah 2014.

And the winners are ...
The 6 subsidiary titles;

Day 3 (last day of the pageant days) of the Miss Scuba Sabah 2014 kicked off the morning with a visit at Borneo Marine Research Institute at University Malaysia Sabah (UMS) with a welcoming address & marine awareness session with Prof. Dr. Saleem Mustafa , Director of the institute, followed by a impromptu marine conservation message by the random selected finalists, a tour guided visit to the marine museum & aquarium lead my the curator Ms. Flora.

Lunch thereafter was held outside the institute at Cafe Warisan Klasik overlooking the beautiful South China Sea with its breeze. Thank you Mr. Asri for the yummy lunch !

Then back to the hotel for the Pre-Selection Interview with our 3 panel judges in the afternoon. Buffet dinner was hosted by The Palace Hotel at Glamorous Lounge with karaoke session before the Grand Finale rehearsal.

A good and smooth day before the Grand Finale the next day.

Day 2 of Miss Scuba Sabah 2014. Visited Borneo Reef World pontoon !!! The largest in South East Asia and do you know that there are just a few in the world and one of it is in Sabah ! We went with the the friendly Ms. Theresa Tham, MD of Borneo Reef World. We boarded the catamaran to head to the pontoon at 8.00am and stayed at the pontoon till 3.00pm. On board the finalists were treated for a yummg lunch, photoshoot around the pontoon, marine awareness video shooting, scuba gear explanation & demo and a marine awareness & conservation session with Mr. Theresa herself! How lucky! It was such a informative and fun day onboard the pontoon ! Thank you so much Borneo Reef World !!!!

The for dinner we had an appearance at KK's Fusion Grill & Bar located in Metrotown in which the 4 course meal was oh so yummy !!!!!! a must try restaurant indeed! Thank you to the owner, Mr. Sam Yong !!!!

Phew it was a tiring day alright but a great one!

Its the 'The Day' of the Miss Scuba Sabah 2014 Pageant Days where we kicked start the 1st day with a visit and fitness session at Juara Gym at Juara Sport Planet located in Putatan desapolitan whereby we had a health session with the Gym Director - coach Mr. Benreza Uzair, a gym equipment how-to session & circuit with coach Kevin Andrew and a healthy meal too ! Such an informative & valuable lesson we all learn ! Thank u so much Juara Gym !!!!!!

Then its off to Aroma Ristorante for lunch. Chef Aaron greeted us into his Italian restaurant with a feel good aroma direct from his kitchen! he even prepared for us an off the menu dish! Thank u so much Chef !!!!

At dusk, the finalists had a photoshoot with the Big Bikers at the official hotel - The Palace Hotel and presented a memento to each of the bikers.

Whats a fun filled day we all had !

Miss Scuba Sabah 2014 mission this year is in line with Miss Scuba Malaysia of ‘Saving Ocean through Beauty’ is to celebrate the inner beauty and courage of today’s modern women and simultaneously advocate worldwide marine and ocean conservation. This pageant also aims to promote safe diving practices and to elevate international dive tourism and cultural appreciation, and hopes to share the beauty and wonders of the underwater world via this pageant.

It would not be possible to held this pageant if it was not for the kind support from our supporters & sponsors in making the pageant a reality.

Kota Kinabalu, 27 September 2014 - Miss Scuba Sabah grand finals was held at The Palace Hotel and organised by Impact Zone Sdn Bhd. The pageant's mission in line with Miss Scuba Malaysia of 'Saving Ocean through Beauty' is to celebrate the inner beauty and courage of today's modern women and simultaneously advocate worldwide marine and ocean conservation. After a series of pageant days activities, Ms Jane Ho was crowned as Miss Scuba Sabah 2014 bringing home RM3000 cash and various valuable prizes from sponsors.
