Among the many roadside attractions Malaysia has to offer, Lata T**i Dua stands out as one of the most stunning. Although undeniably beautiful, it is currently off-limits to visitors.

Located about 33KM from Selama town, Lata T**i Dua can be admired from the Lenggong–Ijok Highway. From a distance, you’ll catch sight of its long, continuous cascade of frothy white water. There’s a small spot along the highway where you can safely pull over to snap some scenic photos.

Batu Baginda is located in Kampung Majau, near the town of Batu Kikir, with the Wave Rock situated just five minutes away on the other side.

The hike to the summit covers about three kilometres from the car park, with the final two kilometres being quite challenging—especially for beginners. Standing at 450 meters above sea level, Bukit Baginda may not be very tall, but the steep and often slippery trail can make the climb tough. On average, it takes around two hours to reach the top.

Lata Buluh, nestled in Kampung Sungai Simpul, Ijok, is a hidden gem in Selama known for its peaceful and quiet surroundings. The waterfall is enveloped by tall, lush trees that provide a cool, shaded retreat. During our visit, the breeze flowing through made the experience even more refreshing. That said, the place was unfortunately quite littered, and maybe because of our timing, the river water wasn’t as clear and pristine as we expected.

Bukit Senaling, located in Kuala Pilah, is well-known for its breathtaking panoramic views above the clouds. The trail is relatively gentle with a moderate distance, making it ideal for beginners.

Lata Damak in Sungai Bayor is located about 15 kilometers (approximately 20 minutes) from Selama town, Perak. It is an ideal destination for swimming and picnicking, making it a popular spot for nature lovers.

Interestingly, Lata Damak is also part of the Tujuh Lata, one of Perak's well-known tourism icons!

Bukit Kepayang is a small hill area in Seremban. Despite its size, exploring all the sub-trails can take hours due to the constant elevation gains from ascending and descending the hill. However, hikers are rewarded with a breathtaking panoramic view that stretches to the east.

At the peak, a spacious area awaits—perfect for relaxing, having a picnic, or simply enjoying the scenery. With tables and benches provided, it’s an ideal spot to unwind and take in the natural beauty of the surroundings.

Selama is home to dozens of breathtaking waterfalls, and Sungai Sangkut is one of them. The trailhead begins at the Orang Asli village, and we reached it in less than an hour. The experience was beyond words.

Of all the waterfalls I've visited, this is one of it left us completely in awe the moment we laid eyes on it for the first time!

Our Experience at Zone C!

GLO Durian Farm & Camp recently announced their soft launch on social media, and with their amazing deal—Book 1 night and get the second night free—we took the opportunity to book a stay at their brand-new Zone C!

Overall, we had a fantastic experience at the campsite. The lot sizes are spacious, providing a comfortable and uncrowded environment. Zone C can accommodate up to 19 tents, with some lots offering parking space right beside your tent and others featuring stunning mountain views. If you're lucky, you might even get the chance to stargaze at night!

Currently, the toilet and sink area require a short walk to The Hub, but don't worry—Zone C’s dedicated toilets and washing area are under construction and will be ready soon!

Even though it's off-season for durians, we still got to try their frozen Musang King and D24, and they were absolutely delicious! We can only imagine how incredible they would taste fresh—OMG, it would be amazing!

Jeram Dagang, also called Jeram Gajah, is a picturesque spot believed to have been named after the elephants that once inhabited the area.

Its main highlight is a small cascading waterfall alongside a semi-large sandy pool, making it a perfect getaway for families with children to enjoy a weekend picnic.

Situated in Kampung Bemban, Jelebu, Negeri Sembilan, Bukit Batu Beras stands at 635 meters above sea level, with its scenic viewpoint, Anjung Batu Beras, at 311 meters. From here, visitors can take in breathtaking views of the surrounding villages and vast paddy fields that stretch as far as the eye can see. During harvest season, the fields turn a brilliant golden hue, creating a stunning landscape. Early morning hikers may witness a mesmerizing sea of clouds, while sunset offers yet another spectacular sight.

Lata Berembun, Sungai Batangsi waterfall is about 24 km for a round trip. Our chosen starting point is at Anugerah Campsite. It is understood that there are multiple starting points leading to Jeram Berembun, all converging at the same location.

The final 60 minutes of the journey involve multiple river crossings over the same river and trekking along river trails.

Lubuk Kawah Waterfall is a breathtaking natural wonder formed by the meeting of Sungai Bernam, Sungai Kawah, and Sungai Perah. With its series of cascading drops and rushing streams, it offers a spectacular sight. A permit is required to visit this scenic spot, which is perfect for picnics or a refreshing swim. However, visitors should exercise caution as the rocks can be slippery.

The Taman Tugu forest trail is perfect for beginners and suitable for all ages. Entry is free of charge.

The park offers several short hiking trails of varying distances. A trail map is available at the Tapak Semaian (tree nursery) area, and clear checkpoint markers along the way help visitors navigate and track their progress.

A full circuit of the main trails includes the Green (1.5 km), Yellow (1.5 km), White (1.0 km), and Orange (1.0 km) trails, totaling 5.0 km.
