I am Ally, the creator of aruri-handmade, a home-based small production workshop in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, for hand crafted goods since 2008. I make an assortment of little pouches, handbags, chunky wooden bead necklaces, concrete trays, five stones game, rubber stamps, cards and other knick knacks. I love working with different materials and patterns where Scandinavian, Japanese zakka and vintage

inspire me the most. Some of my favourite methods are hand printing, painting, patchwork, and the good ‘ol cut and paste. Along the way, I may create something new on a whim, so do drop by to find your fancy!
