Today marks 13 years of marriage, and we couldn’t think of a better place to celebrate than Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic. ❤️

Over the years, we’ve learned just how important being near the water is to us. We’re simply happiest when we’re close to the sea, and we feel so grateful that our apartment is only five minutes from the water. 🌊

We’re looking forward to starting our mornings with walks along the Malecón, getting some exercise, breathing in the ocean air, and enjoying this beautiful new chapter together.

13 years, countless adventures, and so many more still to come. Here’s to continuing to explore the world and life together. 🥂🌎.

David felt like a superhero after floating in the salt pans of Cape Verde! 🦸‍♂️😂

Normally, David sinks like a rock. Seriously, floating in a pool is not one of his talents. But in the Salinas, it was a completely different story! The water is so salty that he could stretch his arms out, strike the most ridiculous poses, and still float effortlessly.
It's such a weird and amazing feeling to be that buoyant!

In addition to the fun floating, this salt valley is incredibly scenic. Making it one of the most unique spots on the island.

The world is full of surprises, and getting to experience things like this is one of our favorite parts of traveling. 🌍✨

Have you ever floated in super salty water before? We know there are several spots like this in the world, but this was a first for us.
