Our journey exploring Namibia continues...

We visit the breathtaking Moon Landscape in Namibia, very close to Swakopmund. Is this what it looks like on the moon? Definitely a must to see when traveling through Namibia!

We also make some noise on the musical rocks and end our day off with an ice cold beer in Swakopmund.

Enjoying a beautiful sunset 🌅 from the dunes overlooking the coast of Long Beach.

Nothing like a beautiful sunset ... they paint 🖌️🎨 a different picture every day 🧡 forcing you into a state of calm and quietness...my favorite part of day!

We took a drive to Pelican Point and we came across thousands of seals!

You won't believe how noisy (and stinky) they are! Did you know that a seal pup can recognize his mom's call from a distance between all the noise and similar sounding calls?! Amazing!

You only realize how big these pelicans are when standing next to one. How they get those big bodies in the air and just soar around is just beyond me 🙆🏼

We visit Pelican Point close to Walvis Bay - we have never ever seen so many seals and flamingos🦩 in our life before!

We experience the well known Easterly Weather where warm wind from the desert reaches the coast - it's just sand, dust and good weather :-)

Exploring Namibia's dunes - best playground for kids. 👯

Be aware‼️ Namibia is addictive - it has a kind of unexplainable magic that makes you want to see more and you want to go back every day.

The experience climbing those dunes, sitting on the top and overlooking the orange waves of sand as far as the eye can see ... a memory that you treasure forever. You just can't explain it... you need to experience it.

There is nothing as breathtaking as the Namibian Dunes...also very scary when you get stuck in the middle of nowhere...

We also share some footage of our beachfront "mansion" we stayed in in Long Beach (also known as Langstrand). We were so lucky to found this gem...nestled between dunes and the sea.

We spent a month in Henties Bay, Namibia.

We share some of our most special memories 💛:

~ Fun on the beach and the dunes
~ Sarah se G*t - a very popular fishing spot
~ A motorbike rally and ice cold draughts at De Duine Hotel
~ Horse riding, meeting Choppie the Camel, and enjoying good wine and hospitality at Lukzet! A fantastic place to visit.
~ Enjoying Galjoen - a very popular fish in Henties.
~ Floating in Namibia's very own "Dead Sea"
~ Salt Pans

Namibia is very well known for its hospitality. We got to experience this by being blessed with the most amazing neighbors in Henties Bay who invited us to the local Brandberg festival. We camped at White Lady Lodge in Brandberg, Uis and on the way back we were shown the true beauty of Namibia that only the locals know.... Wow, is all we can say...
