ADIS HOTELS IBADAN -10th ANNIVERSARY. November 13, 2024.

Today we are celebrating 10 years operating as Adis Hotels. I thank God for the vision, and the provision of all that was required to birth and run the hotel.

Owning and running a hotel had been one of my desires since about 2004 when I was still working in Zenith Bank. So I listed this in a notebook as one of the businesses I would want to do whenever I was out of the bank.
Eventually I had to leave the bank in 2010 without preparation for my next step– The Management had drafted my resignation letter, and all they requested of me was to sign- which I did. I got a severance pay though!

After two years of this and that, sometime early 2013, while praying quietly in my study with the door shut, I started imagining converting our home to a hotel. I saw clearly how I would want a passage created, and rooms will be on the left and right of the passage – as in standard hotels. But I kept the imagination to myself. Some days after, my wife said to me: “since you desire to have a hotel, why don’t we just convert our home into one.” This was just a clear confirmation of what God had planted in my mind.

So we moved out, rented an apartment nearby and started renovating. We registered the company in March 2014 as Adis Hotels Limited. On November 13 we commenced accommodating guests and providing them meals. We set out to provide the following to our guests- very clean facilities (most especially the bathrooms), peaceful environment, and great meals. Over the years, we have been doing these well, and we keep improving to make sure our guests are always delighted with us.

As we celebrate our 10th year in service, I thank all the staff who have supported me on this journey, I thank all our service providers-suppliers and those who repair our facilities promptly, and I thank most especially all the friends, and strangers who have trusted us enough to patronize us and referred organizations and other guests to us. How far could we have gone without you?

Adis 1 vs Adis Prime

Where would you rather stay- Adis 1 or Adis 2(prime)?

- Both located on same crescent/ road in New Bodija, Ibadan
- ⁠Adis 1 is located at 1 Akinsehinwa Street, Adis Prime is 5 mins walk down the same crescent at 5 Ibrahim Taiwo street.

- Both are known for good meals, cleanliness, comfortable rooms, cool and quiet atmosphere.
Adis 1 has fewer activities- therefore more cozy and private.
- ⁠Adis Prime also has a large hall for conferences and festivities , and swimming pool & gym - free for guests in the two Adis.
