This type of unsettling sight that dot many Sub-Saharan Africa will not be going away anytime soon no matter the number of World Economic Forum, G-7 showmanship summits, World Bank crappie solutions that African leaders swallow, UNDP mirage prescriptions that are no miracles, etc.

Whether China and or the west, Africa must own itself and set about solving problems confronting her. No cap in hand begging.

Until African leaders feel embarrassed by the conditions that they knowingly create and quit chasing other leaders to come to their rescue, "Africa Rising" will be like forecasted rain in the desert - it does not sprinkle enough to get the desert wet.

Poverty exist in various countries developed and underdeveloped - but poverty in Sub-Saharan Africa is like no other - heart wrenching.

African leaders are busy looking for who to blame for things they cause based on their ignorance but more like 'it-does-not'exist' mentality. They are more willing to travel to western countries to beg and act like Pupils than stay back and use the authority of their office to do good.

And by the way - no amount of screaming and shouting JESUS will make this go away. Divine intervention does not exist until committed human intervention is entrenched to effect deserving changes. God help those who help themselves - Take that literally.

Africa should not be the doormat of the world, but if they do, 2 things happen to a doormat - get STEPPED ON and or OVER.
