The power of the people is stronger than the people in power.

It doesn't get easier but it will get better. Change will come whether those in power like it enough. 2 years on and although it may look like things have gone back to normal, things are happening behind closed doors and I know God is working the change that is coming to Nigeria. I want to be proud to say I live here again. I want to see thing better, brighter and stronger. I know it can happen. I choose to stay hopeful 🙏🏾

Happy Nigeria Independence

Here's a message from a Returnee...

We are so blessed to be from this beautiful nation called Nigeria our story comes from a blood line of ansestors pre colonial who were warrior's, hustlers and highly intelligent minds.

When a Nigerian walks🚶‍♂️into a room you know because we are bright, we shine, we can walk any room with our drums and beats.

Oh being a Nigerian is a gift 🎁 of possibilities..
We look forward to the renewal of our leadership and look forward to a Nigeria 🇳🇬 that we have collectively restructured..

All hands on deck we got this.
Happy birthday Nigeria 🇳🇬

The recent GDP report by the National Bureau of Statistics shows that the ICT sector contributed 18.44% to Nigeria’s GDP in the second quarter of 2022. The sector saw a 6.55% growth rate from Q1 2022.

The contribution of the oil sector, which used to dominate the country’s GDP bottom line, fell to 6.33% in Q2 2022, a position lower than its 7.42% in Q2 2021 and 6.63% in Q1 2022.

With trade coming in second to ICT and contributing 16.81% to the economy, higher than the 16.6% it recorded in 2021 when the world was just recovering from the pandemic, and the 16.13% it recorded in Q1 2022, the non-oil sector dominated the economy.

Per the report, the non-oil sector contributed 93.67% to the nation’s GDP in the period in review. The figure is said to be higher than 92.58% in Q2 2021 and 93.37% in Q1 2022. The non-oil sector’s contribution grew by 4.77% from the previous rate.

The non-oil sector was driven mainly by telcos, trade, financial institutions, transportation, agriculture, and manufacturing (food, beverage and to***co). The report also showed that economic activities picked up around telecoms and trade services after the COVID-19 pandemic and government regulations on SIM-NIN integration.

Finding the perfect place in Nigeria has to be one of the most stressful and difficult things in the whole move back process.

Here's some things to know before moving to Lekki 1 (which usually, is a great place to start looking for houses if you are planning to live on the island)

Happy Democracy day.

Democracy day commemorates the commencement of the longest continuous civilian rule since Nigeria's independence from the colonial authority in 1960 when the military handed over power to an elected civilian government in 1999. It is observed every year on June 12th.
