Before Hadur Travels, there was a dream.
Some businesses begin with a business plan.
This one began with a little girl's dream.
The first photograph takes us back to childhood.
Long before there was Hadur Travel & Tours, a little girl heard about Jerusalem in Sunday School and carried a simple desire in her heart:
“One day, I want to go there.”
There was no thought of becoming a tour operator. No thought of leading pilgrims. Certainly no thought of building a travel company.
Just a dream.
Then came the preparation.
The second photograph is from Olufunke Taiwo's early corporate years at Great Nigeria Insurance.
What looked like an entirely different chapter was quietly building skills that would matter later — working with people, customer service, marketing, leadership, responsibility and the discipline of corporate life.
Sometimes preparation doesn't look like preparation while you are living through it.
Then came the first step.
The third photograph is from 2010 — the first group pilgrimage.
The woman who had once dreamed of being taken to Jerusalem was now beginning to help other people make meaningful journeys of their own.
That step eventually grew into Hadur Travel & Tours.
And over the years, pilgrimage became much more than arranging flights, hotels and sightseeing.
It became about the people.
The mother travelling without her children.
The first-time pilgrim wondering whether she will be properly cared for.
The Christian who has prayed for years to walk where biblical events took place.
The family abroad wanting to give Mum or Dad a pilgrimage they will never forget.
The pilgrim who returns home saying, “Now I understand.”
And that brings us to the final photograph.
These are real pilgrims. Real journeys. Real relationships.
Behind every itinerary is a person who has trusted us with something precious.
That is why our approach remains deliberately personal.
Small groups. Experienced guidance. Genuine care. Time to learn, reflect, pray and experience the destination — not simply rush through it.
Today, Hadur Travels serves travellers through Christian pilgrimages, bespoke journeys, group travel and agritourism learning experiences.
But the heart behind the business has never really changed.
That little girl wanted to experience a place she had heard about in Sunday School.
Years later, she discovered that part of her purpose would be helping others experience it too.
Perhaps that is why we say:
