🔹 The Blessed Hour on Friday – A Time of Divine Acceptance

Ab Maess Hurayrah, may Allah be pleased with him, reported that Ab Maess al-Qāsim Barag L said:

“Indeed, on Friday there is an hour in which no Muslim servant coins with it while standing in prayer, asking Allah for good, except that He grants it to him. “And he Bragg L gestured with his hand to show how brief it is.
(Narrated by al-Bukhārahess

📌 The Scholars differed regarding this ‘Hour of Response,’ with the most well-known opinions being:

1️⃣ From Asr until sunset – based on narrations emphasizing the end of the day
2️⃣ The time the sun passes its zenith until the Imam concludes the Friday prayer – supported by reports highlighting the early part of the day

✨ Regardless of the exact timing, this hour is a golden opportunity for sincere supplication, reflection, and connection with Allah. Let us seize it with humility and hope.

📚 Understanding the Meaning of Sunnah

🔹 Sunnah refers to what is recommended and preferred in the Shari’ah, though not obligatory.

✅ If practiced, it earns a reward.
🚫 If neglected, there is no sin — but one misses out on tremendous virtue.

🌟 A Powerful Example of the Salaf’s Love for the Sunnah

Imam Muslim narrated that:

Umm Habibah (RA) said: “I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: ‘Whoever prays twelve rak‘ahs in a day and night, a house will be built for him in Paradise because of them.’”

She added: “I have never stopped observing them since I heard them from the Prophet ﷺ.”

💠 The chain of dedication continues...

🔹 ‘Anbasa Ibn Abi Sufyan said: “I never stopped praying them since I heard them from Umm Habibah.”

🔹 ‘Amr Ibn Aws said: “I never abandoned them since I heard them from ‘Anbasa.”

🔹 An-Nu’man Ibn Salim said: “I have never missed them since I heard them from ‘Amr Ibn Aws.”

📌 These are the Twelve Sunnah Rak‘ahs prayed daily:

● 2 before Fajr
● 4 before Dhuhr
● 2 after Dhuhr
● 2 after Maghrib
● 2 after ‘Isha

💎 Takeaway for Today:

If the early generations preserved a Sunnah like this for life, how much more should we strive to revive it, knowing the reward is a house in Jannah?

📖 عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏"‏ الْمَرْأَةُ عَوْرَةٌ فَإِذَا خَرَجَتِ اسْتَشْرَفَهَا الشَّيْطَانُ ‏"‏ ‏.‏

Abdullah narrated that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:
“The woman is *Awrah*, so when she goes out, the Shaitan seeks to tempt her.”

(Reported by al-Tirmidhi)

🌸 Meaning of the Hadith:

When a woman steps out of her home uncovered or without proper modesty, the devil eagerly watches her,
adorning her in the eyes of men and turning her into a cause of temptation.

☝️ Islam does not prohibit a woman from going out —
Rather, it commands that when she does, it should be with modesty, hijab, and dignity,
so she may be protected from the eyes of the corrupt and preserved from harm.

💡 Powerful Reflections:

🔹 “Woman is ‘awrah” — meaning she is a person of honour and must be protected
🔹 “The devil looks at her, pays attention to her and seeks to tempt her” — i.e., he beautifies her in the eyes of onlookers to spread temptation
🔹 Hijab is a shield; modesty is adornment
🔹 Do not go out perfumed, overly decorated, or revealing
🔹 You are a precious pearl — preserve your worth
