🚫 MISLEADING CLAIMS ON AUTOMATED COLLECTION SYSTEM 🚫
Our attention has been drawn to a recent post attempting to discredit the genuine and progressive efforts of the Imo State Ministry of Transport and her partners in the successful automation of transport ticketing and revenue collection.
We wish to categorically state that these allegations are false, misleading, and a deliberate attempt to confuse the public for personal or political interest.
The current administration, through the Ministry of Transport, in partnership with Dazzlement Technologies, has worked tirelessly to eradicate manual ticketing, eliminate touting, and ensure every kobo paid goes directly to the state treasury through a secure, cashless and transparent platform.
This innovation is not just a directive from the Governor—it is a people-focused solution to stop illegal collections and ensure taxpayers are protected from fraud and exploitation.
To those spreading misinformation, we advise you to desist. Any attempts to derail this noble initiative will be seen as sabotage against the state’s economic development and will be reported to the appropriate authorities.
