Important Public Health Advisory | Entebbe International Airport

The Uganda Civil Aviation Authority (UCAA) has issued DAAS Circular No.1/2026 detailing enhanced Ebola mitigation measures at Entebbe International Airport (EIA) following the Ministry of Health’s reported outbreak.

All airport stakeholders, airlines, ground handlers, passengers, and crew are strongly advised to strictly comply with the following measures:

- Enhanced hand sanitation facilities for staff and travellers
- Mandatory port health screening for all arriving and departing passengers and crew
- Completion of the Passenger Locator Form for all travellers through EIA
- Immediate reporting of any suspected symptoms to Port Health officials

Traveller and staff safety remains paramount. We encourage all aviation professionals and travellers to remain vigilant and adhere to these protocols to protect public health while maintaining safe and efficient operations.
