Stephanie Ventures, LLC, is a tour company now based in the Netherlands. Founder Stephanie Scott is certified as a Tour Director by the International Tour Management Institute and has worked as a tour guide in San Francisco. She's visited all 50 US States and a dozen or so countries on five continents. From 2004-2018 she worked with one of the most popular men’s pro cycling teams in the U.S. and t

hat experience fostered her passion for cycling and a belief that one of the best ways to see the world and meet its people is by traveling around it on two wheels. After navigating the tricky waters of the DAFT VISA, she's thrilled to call the Netherlands her home, and continue to provide enriching travel experiences for her guests.

Lots of “WOW” moments when technology brought this Benedictine monastery ruin to life. Our guides handed us tablets that allowed us to stand in various positions on the grounds and with a simple swipe, step back in time to see what this grand place might have looked like in the 9th century.

Splendor Along the Seine is off! Our first full day began with a hearty breakfast buffet, free time for guests to roam around Rouen, a bike fitting session, and a short but challenging ride along the river to Belbeuf, a recent Tour de France stage host, where the route went up, up, up to a fantastic overlook for a bird’s eye view of Rouen. After returning to the ship, we joined a local guide for an informative walkabout with visits to the Rouen Cathedral, a favorite subject of Monet, and the square where Joan of Arc met her tragic fate. After a fantastic dinner on board, it was off again to watch a spectacular projection light show at the Cathedral.

Lake Constance! We’re BA-CK! Stephanie welcomed a new group of guests to enjoy a warm up ride from the city of Constance to the UNESCO Site of Reichenau Island, known for its remarkable preservation of churches and monasteries. The ride went to Romanesque churches, vineyards, and “salad farms.” The local fish at lunch was as fresh and tasty as it gets!
