For the 35th anniversary of Zijdar this weekend, I will teach a quick eco-print on silk workshop for €15,-! All materials are included, a beautiful silk scarf from Zijdewinkel.nl and organic flowers from Lokale Bloemetjes. The weather is supposed to be nice, so come out to Heemskerk and enjoy your day surrounded by silks 🙂!

Our little campsite is done and decorated! It was my last day at Camping de Lakens - Bloemendaal for De Cultuurschool. To make it extra festive we made flags, using cotton sheets and organic flowers I handpicked at the Lokale Bloemetjes garden! These tents are created using only left over materials, so imagine what you can do if you repurpose all your things 🙈✨! Bye tiny explorers, thank you for having me!

Epic Tipi Stitching done today by the Camping de Lakens - Bloemendaal kids! It's day three of our natural dye tipi building week. So far we've learned how to make a pattern, cut the pattern from fabric, dye our own textiles using natural dyes (avocado and red onion skins), stitch together the different pieces of fabric, make a tent structure AND how to construct the sheets to the bamboo poles. Tomorrow is the last day that I get to work for the De Cultuurschool this year 😢. But we'll make the last day into a big feast!

Day two at Camping de Lakens - Bloemendaal for De Cultuurschool. The results of yesterdays dye-baths! Woauw! Red onion skins with and without alum (peachy + green) and avocado peels galore on cotton. Today we're stitching all these sheets together to make one big tent tomorrow. It's going to be fun 😌. Oh feet in the sand make everything fun.
