The People’s Clock is an artwork on display in Lounge 1 of Schiphol airport. Created by Dutch artist Maarten Baas, it pays tribute to all of the people who make Schiphol. It took 3 days for over 1000 volunteers to film 12 hours worth of footage. Keep an eye out for the person in orange.

Wow, another fake Amsterdam tourist map that’s being shared everywhere. AI trash…

I can tell you one thing: if you try to navigate Amsterdam using this map, you’re going to get completely lost.

Not only are many of the major sights plotted in the wrong locations, but some of the canals are wrong too. And don’t even get me started on Zeeburgereiland… 🤣

I come across these AI-generated Amsterdam maps every week, and they seem to get more creative with the geography each time. Share examples if you find other bizarre maps or pictures of Amsterdam or the Netherlands 🇳🇱

Over the last 4 days, the River Dommel in s-Hertogenbosch has been home to a variety of surreal and imaginative floating artworks. The biennial Bosch Parade pays tribute to the famous 15th fantastical painter through, music, dance and crazy floating crafts.
