This Saturday (November 2), St.-Bavokerk in Haarlem will host a traditional, very cool book market.
Antique dealers and individuals from all over the country will offer for sale old books, maps, bibliophile editions and comics. And most books are within €5 😀 Don't forget cash, not all sellers accept cards.
The market will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and admission is free.

This WOW train is the Dutch Railways vision for 2025. The new design, developed by Mecanoo architects and furniture maker Gispen, has shifted focus from the train capacity to passenger comfort.
The new concept identified several areas depending on the activity of travellers - you can work, watch a video, eat, chat, browse the Internet or daydream.
Before implementation, the concept has to be verified. At the moment, NS doesn't announce any dates when a fantastic design could become a reality.

Have you ever been here? At Rijksmuseum at Schiphol airport? Take your time, enjoy small, carefully arranged exhibition right in the terminal building on Holland Boulevard between Lounge 2 and 3.
In 2002 the Rijksmuseum became the first museum in the world to open a branch at an airport. And so far, Schiphol is the only one across the globe where original 17th-century paintings are exhibited.
Opening hours: 7 am – 8 pm. Free admission.

Alice in Wonderland has her registration address at Andaz Amsterdam. Designed by renowned Dutch studio Marcel Wanders, Andaz hotel is filled of large and small doors, giant spoons, oversized welcoming bells and tulip chairs.
16 princes also reside in the hotel. Three meter tall, wearing crowns and clogs, they remind visitors that the hotel is located on Prinsengracht.
They say that according to the plan, all the princes were to be part of the sound installation on the roof of the hotel and whisper a word 'silence'. But the plan was not executed and princes had nothing to do but spread throughout the hotel. The next time you are there for coffee or an overnight stay, just stand under their hands and listen to what they whisper to you. @ Andaz Amsterdam Prinsengracht
