Our client is a large Russian company, one of the biggest meat producers and suppliers in Russia, the leading investor in Russian agribusiness industry. Their facilities are located in 16 regions of Russia, employing around 20 000 people including foreign highly skilled professionals.
One of their facilities is located in Belgorod region. It is equipped with up-to-date German slaughter and packaging equipment and Danish refrigeration equipment which allows them to process 420 pigs per hour, 2 mln pigs per year which all together gives 165 000 tones of slaughter weight. For the new pork packaging area of this facility they are currently seeking an expat for the role of Chief Engineering Manager.
Responsibilities of the successful candidate will include:
• Organization of work in production department;
• Control of production plan fulfillment;
• Control of products quality and yield;
• Implementation of activities to reduce the cost of production;
• Implementation of activities to modernize the production, with emphasis on lean production;
• The introduction of modern methods and techniques to achieve and improve production performance;
• Control of technological and technical conditions of equipment;
• Daily control of equipment readiness.
Among other requirements the candidate is expected to have no less than 10 years of work in meat processing industry, experience of management in consume/case ready packaging and experience of managing staff.
