Loen is a scenic village in western Norway, located in the Nordfjord region of Vestland county. Surrounded by towering mountains and fjords, it's a hub for outdoor adventures.

One of Loen’s top attractions is the Via Ferrata Loen, a secured climbing route up Mount Hoven, offering stunning views and featuring the Gjølmunnebrua, a 120-meter suspension bridge. Visitors can also take the Loen Skylift, which transports them to Hoven’s summit for panoramic views.

Skåla, one of Norway’s highest peaks, is famous for its challenging hike and the Skålatårnet lodge at the top. Nearby, Lovatnet Lake is known for its striking green waters and serene beauty, perfect for kayaking and photography.

Loen is an ideal destination for both adventure seekers and those looking to experience Norway’s natural beauty.

In 2022, we brought a handball team to Loen for an unforgettable trip filled with activities and social gatherings. The days were packed with adventures, including hiking, climbing, and exploring the beautiful surroundings, while the evenings were spent bonding and enjoying the local scenery. 🇳🇴 Bergsbotn Viewpoint 🇳🇴

Bergsbotn is a 44-meter-long viewing platform surrounded by the Bergsbotten mountain range and Bergsfjorden. The viewpoint is located on the northwestern end of Senja. The view is of a unique kind.

The viewpoint offers many opportunities to find your own photo angles at different heights. About 60 inhabitants live in Bergsbotn.

Season's final winter adventure will be Dog Sledding on Hardangervidda in Norway, April 19th - 21st! 🇳🇴
A weekend where eager sled dogs take you on delightful journeys through beautiful winter landscapes on the renowned Hardangervidda plateau. Hardangervidda is tailor-made for dog sledding. Wide expanses and low hills without disruptive vegetation. Completely in harmony with nature. Alongside your new, loyal four-legged friends, you'll experience the tranquility of the mountains. Well, except for the barking excitement before the actual start; these are dogs who LOVE pulling the sled 🐾
Plateau, mountains, the whispering wind, outdoor lunches, the creaking of the sled, swift paws in the snow. Can it get any better?

Two people share a sled, taking turns being the dog handler or enjoying the ride as a passenger, snugly wrapped in warm clothes and fur.

A WINTER FAIRYTALE IN NORWAY 🇳🇴

Perhaps you’d like to give yourself an extra challenge by doing a sea kayak trip, a fishing trip in the ocean, or by taking a hike on snow shoes to some of Northern Norway’s most amazing mountain peaks?
