From white to blue 💙❄️
In May–June, the glacier transforms rapidly — shifting from a snow-covered surface into a striking blue ice landscape. Every day looks different.
Since mid-May, we’ve been running daily guided hikes from Folgefonna Glacier Center in Jondal — and we’ll continue all the way until winter returns in November.
Whether it’s your first time on ice or you’re looking for a new adventure, we offer guided hikes for all skill levels.

Overall, the weather at Folgefonna has been fantastic this fall, a storm here and a little snow there, and some days with magical dense fog on the glacier, but we have had many days of brilliant weather!
