🚢 Yesterday, the beautiful Arruno visited Lysebotn Harbour!

Arruno isn’t just any vessel – it’s a family adventure at sea. Named after their children Arne, Ruben, and Noor, this ship is home to Mike, Elly, their family, their trusty ship’s dog Babs. With over 28 years of maritime experience and hundreds of days at sea each year, the Arruno team has turned their passion for exploration into unforgettable journeys.

From September there are new timetables for both the car ferry and the passenger fast ferry🍂🍂

⚠️ No departures on Saturdays – and remember, pre-booking is required for guaranteed boarding!

It’s a beautiful day here in Lysebotn! 🌞 Today we had the great pleasure of welcoming Sola Skydiving Club.

They arrived by plane and jumped right over Lysebotn – what an incredible view they must have had on their way down! 🪂

Do you know Lysedalen Rundt in Lysebotn?

It’s a 9 km circular route connecting the best hiking paths around the valley, from the port to the forest beyond the disc golf field. It’s a perfect 3-hour plan to enjoy the fabulous views of this paradise. What’s more, on sunny days like today, it becomes an absolute pleasure!

🌧️On rainy days, the waterfall in Lysebotn is even more spectacular. 🌈
Whether you’re looking for a short walk during your visit, or just passing time while waiting for the ferry, there’s a lovely little path along the river. Here, you can see the waterfall up close and enjoy a stunning view over the Lysefjord.

After your walk, stop by the charming kiosk by the ferry quay for an ice cream 🍦and a cup of coffee ☕️– the perfect way to end your little adventure! 😊
