Photographing the Northern Lights can feel a little overwhelming at first 📷 The aurora moves, changes brightness, disappears and comes back, usually while you’re still trying to figure out your camera settings.

Our Northern Lights guide and photographer, Slavomír Žáň, put together his best advice for photographing the aurora around Tromsø, from camera settings and shutter speed to composition, moonlight and knowing when to simply put the camera down and enjoy the show.
