We provide active nature based experiences and a variety of outdoor related courses and speeches. We do not mass produce a service, but pride ourselves in creating unique and complete experiences for our guests. We primarily cater for small groups of individual travellers and corporate clients. All experiences are founded on knowledge, local culture and a gentle and sustainable use of the environment.

A new chapter in Arctic adventure begins.🔥
We’re excited to share that Turgleder and Engholm Lodge are now coming together as one!

Turgleder has, for over 20 years, guided ski and trekking expeditions across the vast plateaus of Finnmark and the wild landscapes of Svalbard. Engholm Lodge has long been a base for authentic Arctic life and husky adventures in Karasjok.

Now, our paths join: uniting the lodge, the expeditions, and the deep connection to nature that defines us both.

From now on, you can follow all our activities – from multi-day ski journeys and Svalbard expeditions to lodge life in Finnmark – find us on the Engholm Lodge & Turgleder profile, both on Facebook and Instagram ().

The philosophy remains the same:
We travel off the beaten path.
We move with respect for nature, tradition, and the Arctic itself.
We seek real experiences in wild places.

Every expedition has it's own heights and lows.
The beautiful mornings with bright sunlight and chilly breez, having a coffe moment, or almost sacred mate ritual, as Lukas here... Preparing my tent pillow in the evening, after whole day on skis. Those are the good things.
The bad things are pulling your pulka through deep snow, like above knee-height, and uphill in the same time, having to break the trail back and forth and covering only 3km in 7h. 😅
