Aye aye, Captain!⛵️ Meet Jérôme Cohen – the skipper of our new adventure sailing yacht, Varg.

The 48-year-old French-Norwegian grew up sailing with his family along the coasts of Algeria, Tunisia, Spain and Sicily. In his 20’s, he started to borrow his father’s sailboat and began taking guests on adventures across the Mediterranean and the Caribbean. In 2017, he sailed all the way from France to Northern Norway – and fell in love with both the raw beauty of nature and a Norwegian woman.

Now, with many years of experience running various ski-and-sail concepts in the Lyngen area, Jérôme is thrilled to bring all his knowledge and passion aboard Norrøna Varg.

– Sailing up here in the north can feel a bit like being a real Viking. I promise that everyone who joins us will leave with unforgettable memories and lifelong friendships. Life on a sailboat brings us closer to nature, closer to each other and closer to yourself. A journey with us is like writing your own adventure.

Har du drømt om å klatre Storen?⛰️
Fra juni til slutten av august har vi mange turer med erfarne guider til Store Skagasdølstind.

Norges tredje høyeste fjell er med sine 2405 høydemeter, det høyeste man må klatre for å bestige. En drøm for mange og et minne for livet for de som har vært der, med utsikt over Hurrungane og alle himmelretninger.

Hiking, biking and kayaking in the Norwegian Fjords: Is this the multi-activity adventure of your dreams?

We recently visited this amazing place just a little bit more than one hour drive from Norway's international airport. Making it the perfect place to spend a night or two when arriving in Norway or before you leave.

Three of the most spectacular hikes in Norway packed within one trip. Trolltunga, "the Troll's tongue", Preikestolen, "Pulpit Rock" and a glacier hike on Folgefonna, one of Norway's largest glaciers. 🏔️🧊

The route brings us past many iconic landmarks and views in the Norwegian fjords and mountains. As a bonus - On the return towards Oslo we stop by our mountain biking hotel Norrøna Canvas Telemark before our return to Oslo.
