Weather Advisory: Heavy Rainfall Alert (September 25–28, 2026).

According to various meteorological updates, including All India Weather, meteorologists have issued a high-alert warning for parts of Nepal. Many regions of the country are expected to experience very heavy rain due to the incoming low-pressure system/depression during 25 to 28 Sept.. 2026 (Aswin 9 to 12, 2083).

We sincerely urge all agency members, guides, and support team members to remain watchful and take necessary safety precautions. Please check the latest weather forecasts and exercise caution along all trekking routes, with particular vigilance in landslide-prone areas and river basin zones.

Route Update: Khotro Khola Landslide En Route to Manang:

This is to inform all agency members and concerned individuals that a landslide near Khotro Khola, on the route to Manang from Besisahar, has currently blocked the road.

We spoke with the Assistant Chief District Officer at the District administration Office in Manang. They informed us that concerned authorities have already started the landslide clearance work and the road will be opened within the next one and a half hours.
