Today’s bus ride from Krishna Galli was 20 mins long. I got on a Sajha bus since the खलासी dai from yesterday did not pick up my phone.

I was amazed by how fast Sajha buses travel. I was kinda scared. Anyways, 20 mins away from Krishna Galli = Pani Pokhari.

I had only been to this place while driving and had never walked around here. The first logical thing seemed to find the Paani Pokhari.

I asked a shop keeper about where this Pokhari is and he pointed me to a direction, which I followed. I eventually found out that there is no actual Pokhari.

I then proceeded to take a random route behind the KULK building and this is where my day’s journey begins.

Firstly, I was met with a tiny park. And then a stone tap where people were washing their clothes and filling up water in bottles. Then I walked some more and got hungry.
So I stopped for some chowmein in a local shop.

Then I randomly followed a road that seemed to lead to greenery. Then I was met with a forest called Raani Ban.

I could not record inside the forest but it was pleasant. A lot of bamboo and bird noises and occasional beeps from vehicles outside. I stayed for an hour.

I eventually walked out of the forest and it started raining. I walked whenever it stopped raining and waited whenever it started pouring.

I walked and I walked with no destination taking videos of anything that caught my eye. I was bored, hot and tired. I talked to a few people, took videos of them and took a Sajha bus back to Krishna Galli.

Anyways, Rani Ban was mid.

I’ve written paragraphs upon paragraphs over the days but today, I have spoken

and Now I’d love to conclude with: “The beauty of an artform is the practice of it, in allowing yourself to change alongside what you create.”

I’m immensely grateful to everyone who followed through. 💌

Godly’s last reflection session happened last evening, and I left with a strange sense of gratitude for the fleeting yet deeply transformative connections we are allotted in one lifetime. Some people arrive not simply to accompany us, but to alter the way we witness the world itself. Thank you for being both a friend and an inspiration

This entire experience shifted something fundamental within me. It made me realize that art is never created in isolation. It evolves through conversations, through borrowed perspectives, through chance encounters, through the silent exchange of energies between people who dare to observe life closely. Maybe that is what makes art feel alive. It carries traces of everyone and everything that once touched it.

I realized that identity is not something we carry independently of place. Sometimes, it sleeps inside the roads that raised us. Sometimes, our roots only reveal themselves after we try desperately to grow away from them.

Kathmandu began feeling less like a location and more like an inheritance of emotions, contradictions, histories, and unfinished stories living through me. Its chaos started resembling tenderness. Its noise began sounding like intimacy the more I revisited it and the more I documented it.

So this song is my offering to Kathmandu. A love letter, an apology, and a homecoming all at once. And if you listen carefully enough, the lyrics give everything away.

I deliberately shot this on the terrace of the place I’m staying because that’s where and I talked and understood Kathmandu and art as a whole.

I am deliriously exhausted from going out every single day for 27 days now but I can’t imagine anything else that could push me so far, to watch, to create and to absolutely love doing it.

We can call this an appreciation post. To have the privilege to roam around, compose, capture and create is the dream.

I really stood there for almost half an hour watching these 4 tigers from the central zoo and I think you should too ;)

That is what this summary video is for 🫧

Walking through the ruins of Simraungadh felt like stepping into a forgotten chapter of history. 🏛️

Huge thanks to & Kushwaha for guiding us through these ancient sites during our trip to Bara (March 14-17).

It’s wild to imagine that this place was once a powerful kingdom—now, just scattered remnants whispering stories of the past.

Have you ever visited a place that made you feel the weight of time?
