Known as the district across the Himalayas, Mustang is located between two high peaks, Dhawalagiri and Nilgiri.

Local jeeps from Upper Mustang is going to stop their service from 15th of Mangsir (From 1st of December) due to heavy cold in the region. They will only resume their services from March 1st. Trip during this winter December till Febuary can organise for Lower Mustang region Tatopani, Kalopani, Ghasa, Marpha, Jomsom, Kagbeni Muktinath.
