My Gurung Home My Gurung Home is a Home away from home. We have been providing homestay services for students, volunteers, and tourists for more than 15 years.

We have an experience of keeping our guest more than happy. We are located in the main city of Kathmandu so finding public and other transportation is effortless. For us, looking after guests is a privilege and we endeavour to make your stay as comfortable, relaxing, and informative as possible. Nearby attractions and important places:
1. International and domestic airport: 5 km; 10 minutes by tax

3. All tourist sites in the Kathmandu valley: easily accessible by taxi or bus.
4. Bhatkapur, which has been recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage city: 10 km; easily accessible by taxi or bus.
5. Nagarkot, which offers the best view of the Himalayas: 30 km; easily accessible by taxi or bus.
6. Taxi stand and bus stop: 50 meters from the house. Please come in and enjoy your stay. If you have any further queries, please do not hesitate to contact. Lamatar is a village development committee in Lalitpur District in the Bagmati Zone of central Nepal.

It lies 10 km North-East to the district headquarters of Lalitpur, Patan. To the East of Lamatar lies Ryale VDC of Kavrepalanchwok district. Luvu VDC lies to the West. To the North lie Dadhikot, Sirutar and Gundu VDC of Bhaktapur. Bishankhunarayan VDC lies to the South of Lamatar VDC. It has typical climatic feature as of Kathmandu valley with slightly low temperature. The temperature ranges from 10 to 14 °C during winter and 15 to 30 °C during summer. Snowfall occurs in the hills in winter and good rainfall occurs in summer. Lakuri Bhanjyang is one of the notable place for snowfall during extreme winter.
