Best Time for Everest Base Camp Trek
The time of Autumn (September, October, November) and Spring (March, April, May) is the best time for the Everest Base Camp trek. During these times, the weather remains stable for long.
There are lower risks of drastic variations in weather and climate in Everest. Also, the atmosphere is clear, and so are the surrounding vistas.
The Everest Base Camp trek 14 Days is doable all year around. You will have a comfortable Everest Base Camp Trek while trekking during the best times. However, trekking in Winter and Monsoon is quite hard. The lumps of snow over the trails and the extreme cold of winter is hard to resist.
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu. (1300m)
Day 02: Free and arrangement day.
Day 03: Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla (2860m) then trek to Phakding (2804m), 10 KM Approx.
Day 04: Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3445m), 4 KM Approx.
Day 05: Rest Day in Namche Bazaar.
Day 06: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3850m), 9.5 KM Approx.
Day 07: Trek from Tengboche to Dingboche (4350m) 11 KM Approx.
Day 08: Trek from Dingboche to Lobuche (4950m)
Day 09: Trek from Lobuche to Gorakshep (5160m). Trek to Everest Base Camp 5,364 m and Down to Gorakshep.
Day 10: Trek from Gorak Shep to Kalapathar (5554m). Trek down to Pheriche (4371m)
Day 11: Trek from Pheriche to Namche Bazaar
Day 12: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Lukla
Day 13: Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu
Day 14: Departure
