Very popular among them is the two-day scenic trip to Tiger Tops Jungle Lodge in the Chitwan National Park, home to several species of deer, the Greater one-horned rhinoceros, leopard, sloth bear, wild boar, the Royal Bengal tiger and over 450 species of birds. Combine the remote Bheri Rver in the far-west with a visit to Tiger Tops Karnali Lodge and Tented Camp in the spectacular Bardia National Park. Longer trips are operated on the Sun Koshi, Kali Gandaki and Karnali rivers combined with a few days trek offering a varied adventure. Adrift Adventures Nepal trips are run with the highest quality imported rafts made from heavy gauge hypalon material. Each raft has six independently inflated individual compartments that are especially outfitted for safety. The rafts are rowed by professional river guides who are also trained in emergency medical procedures. Their knowledge of local history, flora, fauna, geology of Nepal and other aspects of this fascinating country add an extra dimension to river running in Nepal. Life jackets of the highest specification are provided for each client as well as all camping equipment such as tents, sleeping bags and foam mattresses. Trip Overview

Reputedly one of the world’s top ten rafting rivers, the Sun Kosi flows through the untouched countryside and small villages of the Mahabharat Lekh mountains. Known as the River of Gold, it begins just east of Kathmandu and journeys 272 km across Nepal to Chatra in the Terai.

The river grows dramatically in power as it joins seven major tributaries, offering continuous action and variety: from fun class II–III rapids in the early days to massive class IV–V waves deep in the famous Jungle Corridor.

🔸 Day 1 – Pokhara to Beni – Big Water Begins

08:30 – Drive to Beni (scenic views en route)

12:00 – Safety briefing, gear setup

13:30 – Begin rafting: Conquer ‘Big Brother’, ‘Evil One’, and ‘Wake-Up Call’ (Class IV)

17:30 – Set up riverside camp

18:30 – Dinner and relaxation under the stars

🔸 Day 2 – Modi Beni – Canyons, Temples & Waterfalls

07:00 – Wake-up tea & breakfast

08:30 – Raft through classic rapids like ‘Double Bend’ (III+)

13:30 – Lunch and continue to thrilling ‘Black Rock’ & ‘Avon Wrap’ (Class IV+)

16:00 – Camp near the jungle corridor

🔸 Day 3 – Purtighat to Mirmi – The Grand Finale

09:30 – Final rafting leg: experience ‘Seti Beni’ a.k.a. ‘Human for Lunch’ (Class IV+)

12:30 – Trip ends at Andhi Khola confluence

14:00 – Return drive to Pokhara

18:30 – Expedition ends at Adrift Adventures office
