Day 4: Sacred Journey to Namo Buddha

Journey of peaceful drive from Kathmandu to Namo Buddha, located about 40 km southeast.

Upon arrival, we visit the revered Thrangu Tashi Yangtse Monastery, a beautiful hilltop monastery.

A short walk uphill leads to the sacred stupa marking the exact site of a profound act of compassion. According to Buddhist tradition, in a previous life, Buddha was born as a prince who encountered a starving tigress unable to feed her cubs. Moved by deep compassion, he offered his own body to save them.

Because of this legend, Namo Buddha is considered one of the holiest pilgrimage site

After exploring the monastery and stupa, we enjoy a quiet lunch. In the afternoon, took a gentle walk around the area and descend down where there is very old sacred For blessing.

Day 3: Sacred Journey to Patan & Blessed Moments at Boudhanath

Our group of 10, accompanied by a guide, set off towards Patan, just 5 km southeast of Kathmandu.

Known as one of the oldest cities in the valley, Patan is a deeply spiritual place, beautifully designed in the form of a Dharma Chakra (Wheel of Law). It stands as a premier Buddhist pilgrimage site, rich in history, art, and devotion.

We explored some of its most sacred landmarks:

* The magnificent Hiranya Varna Mahavihar (Golden Temple), dating back to the 12th century
* The intricate Mahaboudha Temple, known for its thousands of Buddha images
* The four ancient Ashoka Stupas, believed to be built by Emperor Ashoka

After soaking in the spiritual energy of Patan, we returned to the serene Boudhanath Stupa, where we enjoyed a peaceful lunch at Utpala Cafe, a pure vegetarian restaurant.

By pure coincidence, our visit aligned with the sacred celebration of Buddha Jayanti. We were incredibly fortunate to witness the rare and blessed display of the sacred relics of Buddha, revealed only once a year on this auspicious day

Day 2: Sacred Journey to Pharping

On the second day of our twelve-day itinerary, we journey to Pharping, located about 23 km from Kathmandu.

Pharping is a deeply sacred site in Vajrayana Buddhism. It is home to the ancient Vajrayogini Temple, as well as a naturally arisen statue of Jetsun Doma(Tara ). This holy place also features the meditation cave of Guru Rinpoche, where he is believed to have meditated and left sacred imprints, including a visible handprint and other naturally manifested signs.

After completed pilgrimage of Pharping,we had warm local lunch at Pharping bazaar and then head straight to swoymbhunath afternoon.
