Nestled in the Nar-Phu village—also known as ‘Himalparikaogaon,’ meaning "a village on the other side of the mountain"—Mount Himlung was once a challenging choice due to its remote location. Additionally, the Nepalese government only granted official climbing permission in 1992. However, today, Himlung Himal stands out as one of the most accessible and appealing 7,000-meter peaks. Compared to more technical climbs like Nuptse, Himlung presents fewer technical challenges and objective hazards.
We organizes expeditions to Himlung in the autumn months of September and October, the ideal season for the ascent. This peak is perfect for climbers seeking a high-altitude challenge that remains achievable, as well as for those preparing for Everest or other 8,000-meter summits.
