Challenges & Preparation
High altitude: Risk of AMS (Acute Mountain Sickness) acclimatization days are vital.
Cho La Pass crossing: Can be icy and steep; crampons or microspikes may be needed.
Cold weather: Temperatures can drop below freezing, especially early morning or at night.
Physical fitness: Long days (5–8 hours of trekking) with steep ascents/descents.
