Belated happy birthday to the mountaineering legend. Thank you very much for your motivational words and a better insight into the mountaineering world. It was a fabulous evening to join with and share a wonderful evening together including all the Tirolern friends in Kathmandu. As you said it should not be the quantity but instead the quality moments that you should accumulate. I feel honored to have spent this quality time with you all.

Coffee with Rudi Mayr an extreme Mountaineer, author of numerous books regarding mountains & people. Never meet anyone who has knowledge and unbeatable experiences in abundance regarding the himalayas and it’s people.. the man himself Is a Wikipedia when it comes to mountains, culture and traditions of the mountain in the globe. Glad that I did visit the same tourism school where he educated himself for his love for cuisines and tourism management. Bergheil
