A Tragedy That Must Not Be Forgotten
On June 12, 2025, Air India Flight 171 crashed shortly after takeoff from Ahmedabad, claiming the lives of 241 people onboard and at least 28 on the ground. Over 60 others were injured, including patients and staff at a doctors’ hostel struck by the aircraft. Only one person survived.
These were not just passengers and crew—they were mothers, fathers, children, colleagues, and friends. Entire families have been devastated. Communities are in mourning.
This is not just a heartbreaking accident—it’s a call to action. Boeing, regulators, and airlines must confront hard questions about safety, oversight, and responsibility. The aviation industry must prioritize lives over profits and transparency over reputation.
We owe it to every grieving family and every lost soul to make sure their pain leads to lasting change. Accountability must not be delayed. Safety can never be compromised. Let Flight 171 be the turning point.
