Detail itinerary
Day 01 ARRIVAL IN KATHMANDU
Your wonderful journey starts from your flight to Kathmandu. You will be greeted by our team at the Tribhuvan International Airport upon your arrival in Kathmandu and be escorted to a standard hotel. You can have rest before a welcome dinner at a traditional Nepalese Restaurant..
Day 02 KATHMANDU - LUKLA - PHAKDING (Trekking times only)
An early morning flight will get you to Lukla, and after final preparations, the trekking will start. From Lukla passing the Chaurikharka village, you will make a downward slope towards the Dudhkosi Ghat. Following the trail to the bank of the Dudhkosi River you will reach Phakding. You'll stay overnight at a hotel.
Day 03 PHAKDING - NAMCHE BAZAR
From Phakding, you will cross the river over a long suspension bridge. You will pass through a beautiful pine forest that will lead you along the river to Hilary's Suspension Bridge. If the weather is clear, you'll have the first view of Mount Everest. Following the trial you'll climb to the gateway of Mt. Everest, Namche Bazaar.
Day 04 NAMCHE BAZAR Rest day
Namche is an ideal place to spend a day to acclimatize the altitude before heading ahead. You can visit Khunde Hospital built by Sir Edmund Hillary, or hike to Thame or relax and explore Namche. It is the main trading village in Khumbu and has a busy Saturday markets.
Day 05 NAMCHE BAZAAR – TENGBOCHE
A simple trek from Namche begins with the Dudh Koshi Valley at the arrangement of Phungki Thanka.Here, you will be cherishing incredible view of Mount Everest. Going through the path that walks with the precise side of the Dudh Koshi River you will reach the village of Tengboche. The trek from Namche to Tengboche takes you to the remarkable natural panorama of rivers, hills and Himalayan Mountains.The Tengboche village lies at the convergence of the Dudh Koshi and the Imja Khola Rivers. The village is enclosed with tall hills that are roofed with rhododendron trees.It is also well-known for Tengboche Monastery, the leading monastery of the Khumbu region.
Day 06 TENGBOCHE – DINGBOCHE
The trekking path takes you to the Imja River through a suspension bridge moving towards the village of Dingboche. Throughout the trail, the village of Pangboche is crossed.Dingboche is known as “Summer Valley” of the Khumbu. It encloses 1 kilometer long wall made for the protection the crops of the village from the freezing wind that slides down the Imja Valley.From Dingboche, you will be enjoying charming sights of Lhotse, the Ama Dablam, and the Island Peak from Dingboche.
Day 07 DINGBOCHE ACCLIMATIZATION DAY
A walk to Nagarjun is an ideal way to travel around at Dingboche. Nagarjun (5100 meters) is situated above Dingboche on a hill at the ends of the Chhukung valley. Here you will enjoy climbing and steep walk and need some energy. Traveling around about 3-4 hours, we will reach Nagarjuna.Here, you will view wonderful view of Lobuche East, Lobuche West, Kangtega, Taboche Peak, Thamserku, and the Ama Dablam.
Day 08 DINGBOCHE – LUBOCHE
Going through Dhungla from Dingboche, you will pass through the Trekkers Aid Post located at Pheriche (4210m). It is organized by the Western Volunteer Doctors with the assistance of The Himalayan Rescue Association.Then, you reach The Chupki Lhara, a rock-strewn sloping. From here, you can view the sight of amazing peaks. The trail then passes to the Khumbu Glacier moraine. Mount Nuptse also gets forward after passing the glacier.Afterward, we arrive and stay at Lobuche for the night.
Day 9 EVEREST BASE CAMP – GORAK SHEP
Trek to Everest Base Camp starts with the slow walk to avoid altitude sickness. From Lobuche runs next to the view of the highest glacier in the world, the Khumbu Glacier.After walking for some hours from Lobuche, we arrive at Gorak Shep a peaceful site spotted with some hotel. From here, the path proceeds all the way to the top of the border. Then, we arrive at our desired destination the Everest Base Camp.Here, the view of the Khumbu Icefall and the sight of the Khumbutse and Lingtren peaks are extremely wonderful.After enjoying some time at the base camp with beautiful landscape and the peaceful surroundings, we get back to Gorak Shep.
Day 10 HIKE UP KALA PATHAR AND TREK TO PHERICHEY
- We will be enjoying morning hike to Kala Patthar, another highlight of the journey.Kalapatthar is a well-known vantage point well-liked for its amazing panoramic sights of Mt. Everest and many other peaks. Here, we will also view the rising sun from the vantage point which is truly amazing. The sun rises amidst an Mt Everest making the color of peaks golden from silver.After spending time at Kala Patthar, we will return to Gorak Shep and walk down to Pheriche.
Day 11 PHERICHEY-NAMCHE BAZZAAR
The trek back to Namche Bazaar follows the Imja River again all through Tengboche.From Tengboche, we will move downward to Phungki Thanka, cross the Kyangjuma, and arrive at Namche. It is a peaceful hike where you can enjoy the wonderful sight of the landscape and the Himalayas.
Day 12 NAMCHE – LUKLA
The trail from Namche to Lukla follows a steeply downwards path passing a suspension bridge. Here, The Dudh Koshi River comes up with a gorgeous feel to the natural surroundings.
Day 13 LUKLA - KATHMANDU
Today, you will be flying back to Kathmandu with the amazing feeling that you accomplished the trekking to Everest Base Camp. You will be enjoying the amazing view of the landscapes one more time during the flight. After arriving at the Kathmandu airport, you will be transferred to your hotel.
Day 14 DEPATS TO DESTINATION
It’s time to say goodbye to Nepal and see you again
