This is to inform that Nepal Telecom (NTC) 4G service has come into operation in Ghunsa, Ward No. 6 of Phaktanglung Rural Municipality, starting from 8 PM today. From now on, local residents and visitors will be able to use high-speed mobile internet service in the Ghunsa area.

For the first time in the Kanchenjunga region — located in Ward No. 6 of Phaktanglung Rural Municipality, Taplejung District — a Wall Rock Climbing test has been successfully conducted at Lonak, near the base of the world’s third and Nepal’s second-highest peak, Mt. Kanchenjunga.
Currently, several foreign visitors are enjoying the thrill of rock climbing at this newly established site. This marks the first-ever rock climbing initiation in the Kanchenjunga area, a milestone expected to significantly promote adventure tourism in the region.
