Upper Dolpo Trek is the trekking to the most remote region or the least developed part of Nepal. It is situated in the Trans Himalayan region of Mid- West Nepal inside the Shey- Phoksundo National Park, behind the Mt. Dhaulagiri. Geographically Upper Dolpo is a part of the Tibet and is generally dry, cold and thinly vegetated which is different from most of the other parts of the Nepal.
It has enthralling villages and the land of mystery, scenery and peace. The Tibetan origin people have been living for thousands of years in the region. Therefore, it provides you an opportunity to observe mysterious monasteries, snow leopards and blue sheep. The stunning mountain scenery, the innocence of friendly people living around in extremely remote mountainous regions really gives you different experience. This trek is suitable for those trekkers who love to have a true sense of adventure.
