This week Nepal witnessed heavy rainfall triggering landslides and flooding across many parts of the country. Latest update reveals the death of as many as 192 people died with 32 still missing. Huge flooding occured in Kathmandu, the capital of the country, as rivers spilled over banks into streets ans homes causing 56 deaths alone.

My hometown Rasuwa district was no exception.
The flood from Parbati Lake swept away and damaged houses and farms including mine. The tourist Homestay TamangHome I operate has also suffered damages which might affect my business at the very start of the tourist season in Nepal.
