🌟 **New Chapter in Mudgee!** 🌟

Well, what an eventful 12 months it’s been! From leaving NZ and making the big move back to Australia, to spending 7 eye-opening months managing a tourist park and over-50s lifestyle village — it’s been a journey full of learning and growth.

We then enjoyed a stint as caretakers in Lake Cargelligo, soaking up the serenity and pace of country life. Now, here we are in beautiful **Mudgee, NSW**, all set up on site and both of us have found new jobs in separate roles.

We’re feeling incredibly grateful to be living in such a stunning part of the country, with fresh opportunities ahead. What could be better than this? 💚🇦🇺

A lesson in Gratitude

Sometimes things don’t go as planned — and that’s okay.

Although our last job didn’t work out due to a lack of support from head office, we’re still walking away with full hearts and a sense of gratitude. The experience we gained, the challenges we overcame, and the lessons we learned have only made us stronger.

Every step (even the tough ones) teaches us something valuable — about ourselves, about others, and about the kind of work culture we want to be part of.

We’re thankful for the opportunity, and even more excited for what lies ahead. Onwards and upwards!

So in the last 10 months our travels have become more localised we have still been exploring but our main focus has been running the Regency motel Ashburton. We have so much fun here, meeting people from all over the world and because of our travels we have been able to help guests with exploring this beautiful country.

So for our local travel we have seen some spectacular places all with in a hours drive
Hakatere Conservation Park a d Rakaia Gorge are our favourite places to go to vist

Oh and we also got a new travelling companion Jasper who brings so much joy to our lives

Big day today walked on nz longest swing bridge twice, climbed over rocks to see a waterfall drove for 5 hours and then spent 3 hours in the most awesome thermal springs at Haner Springs soaking in 38 degree mineral water.
