Our Aboriginal cultural tour at BAWAKA EXPERIENCE … where we connected deeply with the custodians of the land and sea with the Yolnu people. Traditions, stories told by the lovely Yambi (standing next to me) and culture came alive - an experience 60,000 years in the making.

This is 4x4 country, unexplored by tourism, but where you’ll be welcomed by Elders onto their ancestral Homelands. Welcome transfers from Gove Airport are available on request.

Accommodation is in tents or cabins. Activities including mud-crabbing (with a long stick), storytelling, weaving and cooking.

Please remember, this is croc country, so there’s no swimming in the lagoon!
