Did you know Gree names some of its heat pump ranges after our native New Zealand birds? 🐦🇳🇿

Kea, Kingfisher, Whio and Weka — you may recognise the names from some of the Gree heat pumps we install!

A pretty cool Kiwi connection, and great to see their namesakes represented in Bird of the Year

𝑵𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝒃𝒊𝒓𝒅𝒔. 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒅 𝒏𝒂𝒎𝒆𝒔𝒂𝒌𝒆𝒔. 🐦

The Bird of the Year 2026 results are in! We’re celebrating the New Zealand birds that inspired the names of our Gree ranges:

4th • Kea, our Gree Kea AI namesake
16th • Kingfisher, our Gree Kingfisher namesake
19th • Whio, our Gree WHIO namesake
40th • Weka, our Gree Weka namesake

From mountain skies to flowing rivers, these remarkable birds are part of what makes Aotearoa unique. We’re proud to carry their names into Kiwi homes.

Congratulations to Karure, the Chatham Islands black robin, crowned Bird of the Year 2026!

Mitsubishi Electric Lossnay Wi-Fi Control Makes the Invisible, Visible

See by how many degrees Lossnay is pre-warming or cooling your home via the App in real-time.

In summer, monitor by how many degrees Lossnay reduces the average temperature in your home, using Automatic Free Cooling* Mode – ideal for dwellings that may have overheated during the day.

The App will also proactively remind you when it is time to clean your filters so you can rest assured you are always breathing cleaner, healthier air.

The Lossnay RVS and RVX3 Models have the option of an additional CO2 sensor. When connected with the optional Wi-Fi Control Adapter, CO2 levels can be viewed in real-time making it ideal for schools, medical facilities and offices.

Mitsubishi Electric Lossnay Wi-Fi Control is the smart evolution in fresh air ventilation. Available as standard with the Vertical Lossnay Series or is an optional upgrade for the LGH-RVX3 and LGH-RVS Ranges.

*In comparison to using a dedicated cooling device. The unit will continue to use a small amount of power to bring colder fresh air from outside.
