On a recent trip to Kahikatea Bay Retreat, food became a defining part of the experience. We foraged from the sea, enjoying its fresh offerings, while other provisions from FreshChoice Picton were delivered to the water taxi just in time for our trip out to the Sounds.

Yachts took advantage of a Sunday afternoon sail, the Interislander is finishing its afternoon journey from Wellington to Picton and the Celebrity Edge is headed to its next destination following a sunny day in Marlborough. Thanks to Beachcomber Cruises for taking out our last guests to the Retreat. The seven ladies had such a blast away from day to day family duties and work commitments. Fishing, swimming and gourmet food were their main priorities.
