I don’t eat maccas anymore but was just there….. 🙄. What a difference it is ordering after a gastric bypass.

After having weightloss surgery, I get asked all the time… “what do you eat?”
I put a lot of effort into my food choices. I eat so little that everything I consume has to have a purpose. It should have been that way from the start…. 🙄
I prioritise protein…. Not in a “keto” way, but in a “need protein” way. I still eat carbs. They’re not the devil… you need carbs (in my opinion), but I eat nutritious carbs that have flavour eg kumera, oats or brown rice as opposed to bread.
I did this for health not just weightloss. My goal is to be the healthiest version of myself.
Rapid weightloss is not my goal - health is. I make sure I eat, and I make sure that what I eat is good fuel.
Im also prioritising my face…. Hence all the protein & supplements 😂. I’m big on taking collagen for my skin & hair, multivitamins, iron, vitamin c, calcium for my bones, glucosamine for my joints & B12 for energy. Looking to add fish oil if anyone can recommend an odourless one 🙂

Easy lunch post bariatric surgery. I’m 5 months post op and can’t get through the whole thing.
Eating food for fuel is really important post gastric bypass or sleeve. You need to fuel so you look good!
Finding easy recipes is the key.
I added quinoa for extra protein and texture.
