New ways to get protein into the diet.
•Yellow split peas - make Dahl
•Red split lentils - thicken a stew
•Pearl Barley - add to soup. Not so high in protein but high in fibre & other nutrients.

It’s so cool cooking with nutrients in mind again. I used to…. Then I didn’t…. Then I ended up having to fly 26hrs to Turkey to get a gastric bypass…. 😳

Anyhoo…. Moving forward…. I care about what I’m putting into my body again and that feels great 😊

Dealing with stress eating after a gastric bypass! Or lack there of…. I should say. It was not a problem because it’s not possible!!! Which is why I flew all the way to Istanbul Turkey to have weightloss surgery! Mission accomplished!

Not one part of me regrets having a gastric bypass in Turkey. Im loving my new life. How could I not?
