Egypt & Jordan 2027: A Journey Through Ancient Wonders and Desert Magic

I'm also incredibly excited to share that I'm collaborating with on this adventure.
Penny is creating this itinerary after travelling extensively throughout Egypt many times and leading other women-led tours in the region. She has built amazing local connections, knows all the hidden gems, and has the experience to ensure we see the very best of Egypt and Jordan.
I'm so excited to be partnering with her as we bring this incredible new destination to our community.
Have you ever dreamed of standing before the Pyramids, sailing the Nile like the explorers of old, wandering through rose-coloured ancient cities, sleeping beneath a blanket of stars in the desert, and sharing unforgettable moments with a beautiful group of like-minded travellers?
In April 2027, we're embarking on what promises to be another extraordinary journey we've created.
Our adventure begins in Egypt, where we'll explore the treasures of Cairo, stand in awe before the Great Pyramids and the Sphinx, and discover the fascinating stories of one of the world's oldest civilizations.
From there, we'll travel south to Aswan and board our beautiful traditional Dahabiya for a leisurely sail along the timeless Nile. Unlike the large cruise ships, our smaller vessel allows us to experience Egypt at a slower pace, drifting past palm-lined riverbanks, ancient temples, colourful villages and landscapes that have changed little for thousands of years.
We'll explore magnificent temples, discover the wonders of Luxor, and experience the magic that makes Egypt unlike anywhere else on earth.
Then comes one of the most memorable chapters of our journey...
The Sinai Peninsula.
We'll spend time in the laid-back seaside town of Dahab, snorkel the famous Blue Hole, ride quad bikes through the desert, visit a traditional Bedouin village and share dinner beneath the desert sky.
For those seeking something truly special, we'll take an overnight hike up Mount Sinai, reaching the summit in time to watch the sunrise paint the surrounding mountains in shades of gold and pink. It's one of those moments that stays with you forever says Penny 👏
Crossing into Jordan, the adventure continues.
We'll journey into the breathtaking landscapes of Wadi Rum, often called the Valley of the Moon. Here we'll embark on a magical 4WD desert safari, winding through towering sandstone cliffs, dramatic canyons and endless red dunes that inspired the stories of Lawrence of Arabia.
As the sun sets, we'll arrive at our unique UFO-style desert camp, where a traditional Bedouin feast awaits. The evening will be spent under one of the clearest night skies on Earth, surrounded by silence, stars and the beauty of the desert.
Then comes Petra.
One of the New Seven Wonders of the World.
Walking through the narrow Siq and catching your first glimpse of the Treasury is an experience that simply can't be described—it has to be felt.
We'll have time to explore the ancient city beyond the famous façade, wander hidden pathways, climb to the spectacular Monastery, visit the High Place of Sacrifice, and experience the magic of Petra by Candlelight as thousands of flickering candles illuminate this ancient wonder.
Our Jordanian experience also includes sharing lunch with a local family, learning to cook delicious traditional dishes during a hands-on cooking class, and gaining a deeper understanding of the country's warm hospitality and culture.
We'll float effortlessly in the mineral-rich waters of the Dead Sea, enjoy time to relax and soak in the healing atmosphere, then continue to the beautiful city of Madaba, famous for its incredible ancient mosaics.
Our journey finishes in Amman and the fascinating Desert Castles, including:
