It has been a privilege to be able to support the Marahau Halo Trapping Project with funds raised through the Mārahau Pledge.

The fifth edition is Abel Tasman Magazine for 2024/2025 is hot off the press!

This magazine will soon be making its way into homes, cafes, pubs, customer waiting areas, airports, motels, hotels and hostels for visitors to enjoy a content-rich selection of the deeper and more personal stories of this wonderful place we call home.

Grace has been looking daggers at me since she 'volunteered' to be the model for our free t-shirt promo. So, I thought I'd post one more picture to see if we can get the final few shirts out the door while she is still talking to me.

However, if I end up mortally wounded in a mysterious accident, well, you know where the investigation should start.

Score yourself a free t-shirt if you do any freedom or guided kayak trip with MSK in the month of November 2023.

The Ts & Cs are pretty simple:
1. Book your trip directly with MSK either via www.msk.co.nz, in person at the Abel Tasman Centre, or over the phone (0800 529257) and you'll get your pick of the t shirts as modelled here by Grace when you do your trip.
2. This offer runs until we run out of t shirts, and we have about 120 in stock.

KAYAK GUIDES WANTED!

We're looking for kayak guides for the upcoming 2023-24 summer season. Our guides provide safety briefings for people doing freedom kayak rentals and guide groups doing day trips into the Abel Tasman National Park.

Applicants must have:
Prior experience kayak guiding.
PHEC first aid certificate or higher.
Excellent communication skills.

This is a seasonal, waged position at between $24-$30 per hour for a minimum of 40 hours per week. It starts in early October and goes through to the end of March.

The position is located in Mārahau.
