Roskill South Makers We are a group committed to learning and creativity in Mt Roskill. We are proud of our community and the potential that exists within it.

Roskill South Makers is the result of 3 months of design workshops run by Critical Pixels Design at Rec Youth Development in Mt Roskill South. Over the 3 months leading up to the Upcycle Auckland Stalls at the Silo Park Markets, Rui and Andy led Eli, Richard, Jerry and Ricky through a design process. The context for the designs were vases, but the learning was focused on design principles and thin

king. Each of the boys have different dreams and aspirations ranging from policeman and youth worker to UFC cagefighter. The unifying theme however for our group has been to be the change we want to see in Mt Roskill South. It's not about judging our neighbours, but about telling and shaping the stories we want to share about community. Our vases are the result of a lot of hard work and thinking. We have drawn on our experiences and also on our hopes for the future of our neighbourhood. Get in touch and support our journey.

We are the first, the early adopters, the ones to step into the unknown.
