Every day another epic one, 60kg plus and as suspected the fish size and numbers have increased greatly

Here is a quick update on the 2024 Season, its just getting better. The fish are much heavier and more aggressive than last year with anywhere from 8 to 15 strikes in 2-3 hours being the norm, even a huge Wahoo on the Popper last week, here is a nice quick release GT from last week , but the fishing is just incredible, as is the food , Island and facilities, please go to Sea Change Fishing Charters to find out more,

The fish are getting bigger by the day, or maybe we are just getting better, these are no way near the big ones but thats two beauties in two days, getting up to the 50kg zone now , bigger boys than this are just toying with the guide Gordon Sutherland and clients

Hi GT and Topwater enthusiasts, Dave Claridge here and I have recently returned from an absolutley epic fishing charter in virgin, untapped territory in Tonga at the Sea Change Fishing Charters eco-resort and was absolutley blown away by the experience so muchi have forsaken all fishing in NZ and am heading there for two weeks ,twice a year now in Sept and June

I am looking for fisho's to join me single,double or triple bookings, I can take max three extras each trip but best packages are for 2 per boat, (max 4 this year anyway).
there are 1-3 slots available this year in Sept as i was going to go solo, for June 2024 I have 1 spot only left for 3rd week June ,2 spots for second trip 4th week June

The GT's are tremendous, i have hooked the 50-60kg mark, but good luck landing one, and lots of hits on the big poppers or off the beach or jigging, anything is possible including Wahoo, Big Bass, Mahimahi, Dogtooth, Spanish Macks, all tuna and more, quite simply its all new ground and the packages are very flexible. Fishing off the beach or reefs on the light tackle is awesome but the potential for a massive Dogtooth on a deep mounts is another world all together.
The beauty and tranquility mixed with fishermans exhileration and heartbreak that comes with it the package is really affordable with lots of options to increase or decrease your daytrips and expenditure
Gordon Sutherland is our fishing guide,incrediby experienced around Pacific and NZ ,he is also class top chef as wellas the Snapper world record holder so i can gurantee awesome stories, education and excellent food and drinks abound and accomodation is very,very comfortable. Theres a reason I am the one often taking the photo's when I fish with him as the bu**er is a weapon, I want someone else to fish with to make me look good !!
Personally, I bought a budget PE8 setup last trip, snapped it on day two, now all my GT gear is PE10, its that tough up there but we get hammered on the poppers and then its all on ,and around the islands are snorkelling, beach, manta rays and all sorts, maybe even a whale or two this Sept

Flights at an Estimate, 1200.00 return inc tranfers etc, fishing resort packge anywhere from 3k to 6k depending what we do but looking at 4k target
